After the success of last’s year Life is a Cabaret fashion show, the DanceEast Friends Foundation are hosting another spectacular event at the DanceHouse in Ipswich on Friday 30 September 12.30pm & 7.30pm. The Night & Day Fashion Show is sure to be very special with some of the region’s leading independent retailers revealing their new season collections.

For the first time the DanceEast Friends Foundation is working in association with locally-based model agency, Modelgateway who will be providing professional models for the show. Antonio Giovanni Hairdressers and Image Beauty Salon will be backstage to primp and preen the model. The evening is hosted by TV and radio personality, Simon Warr. There will several chances to win some fantastic prize with the Fashion Tombola, or be in with a chance of winning a beautiful piece of jewellery from Berridges with the Lucky Number Programme. There will also be a Grand Raffle with prizes being donated from local businesses.

There will be performances by some of DanceEast’s youngest (and more mature!) dancers, and back by popular request ‘Men in Skirts!’. This unique opportunity to see some of Suffolk’s most successful businessmen on the catwalk is not to be missed.

The fashion show is being presented by the DanceEast Friends Foundation, and proceeds from the event support work in the community and educational sessions DanceEast does with schools, hospitals and looked-after children.

Julia Scowsill, chair of the DanceEast Friends Foundation said: ‘We are thrilled to be staging this Fashion Show which promises to be a really exciting event. The proceeds raised will provide a massive boost to DanceEast’s participation and education work in our local community.’

Neil from ModelGateway.net said: “We are excited to be involved in this event to help support the great work completed at DanceEast and to demonstrate how partnerships like this can bring both community cohesion and attention to a newly developed commercial area. Speaking on behalf of the models and the staff at ModelGateway.net, we are really looking forward to setting the standard in both fashion and modelling in the East with this event.”

Tickets for this event are on sale now from the DanceEast Box Office. Call 01473 295230 or visit www.danceeast.co.uk for more details.
