September 2012 will mark 10 years since the closure of Ipswich’s Broomhill lido. It seems ironic that this should fall in the same year that the whole country is poised to celebrate what is great about British sport.
Over the past ten years a small but dedicated team have campaigned to restore and reopen the Broomhill Pool. The team have support from many local people including businesses, councillors and MPs.
