Sue Ryder – The Chantry is hosting their annual Christmas Fair on Saturday 19th November 2011, to help raise vital funds for the healthcare charity. Staff and volunteers are inviting the local community to come along and join in the festive celebrations.
The event will be held at The Chantry on Hadleigh Road, between 11am and 4pm. There will be a Christmas Raffle – which has many amazing prizes including theatre tickets, products from local shops and even a river cruise with tickets costing just £1 each – a selection of craft stalls selling festive items, a Santa’s grotto, children’s games, as well as hot beverages, winter warmer soups and a selection of festive nibbles including mince pies.
The Christmas Fair is also an ideal opportunity for everyone to celebrate ‘Lights Of Love’. This is a special Sue Ryder event, where friends and family can celebrate the life of someone special by adding a dedication star to our Christmas tree.
Dani Hutson, Fundraiser at Sue Ryder – The Chantry said, “It promises to be great day for the whole family, with something to appeal to everybody. By coming along to the event and supporting Sue Ryder – The Chantry, local people can help us raise much needed money that will go directly to helping the people we care for.”
All money raised from the Christmas Fair will help Sue Ryder – The Chantry, to continue to provide expert and compassionate care for people living with complex neurological conditions including Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Motor Neurone Disease through its residential, day care and community based services.
