THE female team behind this year’s meticulously planned Suffolk Show will be In the Pink this year, and proudly emphasising their Fairtrade commitment.
Keen to stand out from the crowd, the 8 female staff members of the Suffolk Agricultural Association tasked Suffolk boutique Collen and Clare with finding them the ‘perfect’ uniform for the 2012 Show.
After careful consideration, and mindful of the flavor of this year’s Olympic and Jubilee year, a coral pink polka-dot dress by an English fairtrade fashion house was selected.
Vanessa Collen, co-owner of Collen and Clare, said: “We felt we really wanted to select something which told a story as well as looked great and was comfortable to wear no matter what the weather.
“The dresses we selected are from People Tree, which is a company that brands itself as a Fairtrade Pioneer.
“It’s currently a really popular label with celebrities, and the style is very on-trend this season.”
Paula Slater, one of the female team who will be wearing the outfit on the day, said: “As part of the Suffolk Show team I am delighted with the quality and style of our dresses this year. I am hoping the weather matches the hot pink colour!”
This year the Show takes place on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th June at Trinity Park in Ipswich.
Collen and Clare will be at the Suffolk Show as part of this year’s Fifth Avenue offering.
