Police appeal over Ipswich robbery


Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Ipswich.

The incident happened at approximately 2pm on Tuesday 18 September in an alleyway off Station Street.

A 15-year-old male teenager was riding on his bike as he approached by two offenders, one of which assaulted the victim and the other stole his mobile phone. The offenders then ran off towards the town centre.

The victim was not injured from the incident.

The first offender who assaulted the victim is described as a white man, approximately 20-years-old, of a ‘stocky’ build, approximately 6′ tall and was wearing a hooded top. The second offender who stole the mobile phone is described as a white man, approximately 20-years-old, of a slim build and was wearing a hooded top.

Anyone with information about the incident or recognises the offenders described is asked to call Ipswich Priority Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
