Half Term and Christmas at Baylham

It is always a pleasure to visit the farm and just before Baylham closes at the end of the season it’s going to be even better value. For the Autumn half term week they are open every day and for each paying adult a child will be free. Not only this but adult entrance is reduced to £5!

baylham_xmasAfter the half term Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm will be closing for the winter but will open the doors for the first three weekends in December as they’ve been told that Farmer Christmas is coming back this year. On the weekends of the 6th, 13th and 20th December he will be in his grotto with his helpers. Children can visit him there and, if they’ve been good, they will receive a small gift. Normal entrance charges apply and there is no additional charge for meeting him!

With pigs and piglets, goats and kids, cows and calves – the farm is a great place to entertain, educate and enthral.

Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is six miles north west of Ipswich, off the B1113 between Great Blakenham and Needham Market. The farm is open from 10am to 5pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday only, until the October half term when it will be open all week. With entry prices at £7 for adults, £6 for concessions, £3 for children (aged 4-16) and under four’s free, it would be difficult to find a more entertaining and better value attraction in Suffolk.
