Felixstowe Museum is proud to be hosting a mobile exhibition called ‘One War Two Services’ which has been developed by the Gateways to World War 1 Centre.
Its aim is to enhance public interest in the centenary of the First World War and to encourage public research specifically into the Royal Navy’s and Merchant Navy’s roles in that war, areas often overlooked. Subjects researched could include German U boat threat, unrestricted warfare, coastal convoys, etc.
Their aim is partly achieved by displaying the pop up exhibition in different museums and local history centres around the country. The display consists of pull up banners which have information on how to access archives and develop such a project locally.
One War Two Services will be at Felixstowe Museum, Landguard until 8th July.
