Another bumper weekend in store for Ipswich

Ipswich has a real buzz about it at the moment and the Maritime Festival brought a great atmosphere to the town last weekend. This coming weekend is going to be just as big for Ipswich with a number of events taking place around the town centre.

Ipswich will, this weekend, become a cycling haven as we welcome the Cycling Weekend back to the town promoting healthy living and transport on a bike.

On Saturday the Crafted Classique will offer a sportive ride with various distances to chose from; perfect team building for any local employer. Some places are still available and these can be booked by clicking here.

On Sunday, Sky Ride is again taking over the town. The event provides families with the unique opportunity to cycle on traffic free streets, enjoy a whole host of exciting events and have the chance to meet the odd cycling star from British Cycling. Registration for the Sky Ride is free and can be done so by clicking here.

It’s not all about the cycling though. For those who are looking for a more chilled out weekend, we’ll be bringing you our second secret cinema of the summer. The All About Ipswich and Ipswich Central gazebos will be popping up in Cromwell Square car park with our large screen and deckchairs at 11am on Sunday where we’ll be keeping the crowds entertained with Toy Story and Toy Story 2. There will be prizes for the best dressed adult and child so make sure you plan your outfits for the day carefully.

With all this going on, Ipswich really is the place to be seen this weekend!
