Indecent exposure Felixstowe

Police need to trace a man after he indecently exposed himself to a 15-year-old girl in Felixstowe.

Officers were contacted yesterday morning, (Tuesday 18 August), following the incident that occurred around 7.30am in Barton Road at the junction with Constable Road.

The teenager had been cycling in the area when she noticed the man walking on the path towards her, heading in the direction of the hospital. The man shouted out a comment at the girl and then pulled his trousers down to expose himself.

The girl carried on her way and later reported the incident to police. She also told officers that this had not been the first time that the same man had exposed himself to her – and that there had been two previous incidents since mid-July in roughly the same location.

The man police need to trace is described as white, possibly in his 50s or 60s, of medium build, and in the most recent incident was wearing at least one item of camouflage/Army-type clothing.

Anyone who saw the man or who has any information about who he is should call PC Mark Jackaman at Felixstowe by dialling Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime reference FE/15/1465.
