Landguard Fort needs help

At Landguard Fort in Felixstowe – ‘where the land meets the sea’ there is an amazing heritage attraction whose history dates back to the 16th C. and offers a great day out for all ages and interests.

Landguard Fort is run by an amazing team of volunteers, without whom this great place would not continue. The Fort is part of the Landguard Partnership which along with Felixstowe Forward is taking the town into the 21st C.

Volunteering at Landguard Fort is great fun and rewarding too, from welcoming the visitors and running the shop to ongoing maintenance projects and helping out at the full calendar of special events.

Tim Clarke, Chairman of the Landguard Fort Trust said, “We are always delighted to welcome new volunteers because it is you who will continue to make Landguard Fort a success for future generations”.

To learn more about volunteering at the Fort, then why not visit their website at www.landguard.com or give them a call on 01394 675900.
