Ipswich Santa Run

Christmas shoppers will be in for a treat this festive season when hundreds of Santa’s descend upon Ipswich Town Centre in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

The EACH Ipswich Santa Run will take place on Sunday 13th December 2015, starting under the Arch at Lloyds Avenue and will see enthusiastic fundraisers dressed in Santa suits completing a fun run along a new route for 2015 around the town centre.

A Plan Insurance will be sponsoring the Santa Run with their staff participating in the run, marshalling the route and also hosting registration in the warm, handing out the santa suits and checking people in.
Kesha Allen, EACH Events Intern, said, “We are excited to host this year’s Santa Run in the heart of the Town Centre along a new route. Kay Fletcher, from Kay Fletcher Fitness, will be joining us again to warm up our excirunsantated runners.

This is a great, well-established event where EACH supporters continue to raise funds to support families and care for children and young people with life threatening conditions across East Anglia.

“This really is a fun even for all the family so come and join in on the fun!”

The Santa run isn’t a race – you can run, walk, or jog. It’s open to everyone and is suitable for all members of the family.

The event starts at 10.30am at The Buttermarket Shopping Centre on Sunday 13th December 2015. The Santa run is the same day as The Christmas Market in Ipswich Town Centre with the added bonus of ‘The real Santa’ and lots of live music and entertainment within walking distance.

Entry fees are £10 for adults including a Santa Suit and £6 per child under 13 including a Santa Hat.
