Work to repair damage to the beachfront at Felixstowe has now been completed.
Storm Katie caused significant damage to beach front area near the Spa Pavilion on Easter Monday affecting a number of beach huts along this stretch of the seafront.
The high tide and strong winds resulted in beach damage and shingle on the promenade, making some of the beach huts unsafe to use.
The shingle has now been replaced and rock and concrete debris have now been removed from the area.
Cllr TJ Haworth-Culf, cabinet member for Customers, Communities and Leisure, said: “I’d like to thank everyone for their hard work in solving this issue quickly. It now means the affected beach huts are safe to use and this area of the seafront can be opened to the public again.”
