Krispy Kreme keeps Ipswich sweet!

Ipswich got a taste of the action this morning (Tuesday) as Krispy Kreme opened the doors to its brand new store at The Buttermarket at 10am.

Shoppers experienced the joy of Krispy Kreme, with its melt-in-your-mouth signature Original Glazed doughnuts and 15 other delicious doughnut varieties on offer, including the limited edition Rainbow Gloss doughnuts.

The first fan in line was Beth Seddon, 18, from Harwich who waited in line from 7:00am. She was rewarded with a coveted Krispy Kreme Gold Card, entitling her to share a complimentary double dozen every month for a year!

Beth said, “As soon as I heard that a new Krispy Kreme store was opening in Ipswich I wanted to try to be the first in store. It’s a fantastic feeling to be the first in line and to get my hands on a Krispy Kreme Gold Card – I’ll be sharing my dozens with my family and friends!”

The first dozen in line were also treated to an exclusive Krispy Kreme goody bag.

Judith Denby, Chief Marketing Officer at Krispy Kreme, said: “We have had a wonderful opening day here in Ipswich! It’s been great to meet some of our newest guests as they get their first experience of Krispy Kreme treats. Thank you to everybody who came down – we look forward to welcoming lots more Ipswich residents in store in the coming weeks!”
