Could Noah be the next Ed Sheeran?

A BUDDING teenage musician dubbed the next Ed Sheeran will be performing an acoustic set at Ipswich’s busy Sailmakers Shopping Centre as part of an exciting music event to welcome new students to the town.

Noah Evans, 13, from Woodbridge, Suffolk, is a big indie music fan and will be singing both covers and his own material during a half-hour set at the popular shopping centre’s ground floor mall today (Friday, 29th September).

Sailmakers Shopping Centre will celebrate the new academic year and welcome students to the town with an acoustic stage giving up and coming musicians an opportunity to perform before a live audience.

Musicians, solo artists and bands are being allocated 30-minute slots and can perform covers or original songs with a master of ceremonies on hand and at the same time stores in the centre will have special shopping offers for college and school students.

Farlingaye High School student Noah is looking forward to testing out his own material in front of shoppers and is aiming to have his first EP out with four or five songs by the end of the year.
