July is hotting up at the Spa starting off with the brilliant vocal performance of Fleetingwood Mac on Saturday 7th July from 7.30pm.
This fresh young band bring across the live sound of Fleetwood Mac, with authentic guitar, keyboard, drums, a man on the bass and of course, those legendary vocals. They are closely followed by the Kast-off Kinks, on Friday 13th at 7.30pm and as they are all actual former members of The Kinks you can safely expect an authentic Kinks sound!
The live music doesn’t end there however, the following night the stage is once again alight with the UK Pink Floyd Experience (Saturday 14th at 7.30pm).
Tuesday 24th also at 7.30pm is an absolute must-see. Last year the sensational Navi: King of Pop and his incredible Michael Jackson tribute show saw a packed house. Could be due to the fact he’s just starred in a blockbuster film about the life of Michael Jackson which is due to be released here in the UK later on this year, or the fact he has 600,000 followers! Either way you’ll be glad you got to see him perform the most popular Michael Jackson mega songs. He would definitely be our one to watch for the sizzling month of July.
Follow that! Well they are, in August with a traditional Seaside Special show suitable for the whole family. The Great British Seaside Special Variety Show which features popular acts Andy Leach and Ian Larkin to name just two, returns on Thursday 2nd August at 2.30pm and early booking is advised. Friday 3rd features a hilarious comedy play written by Bobby Ball – The Dressing Room, closely followed on Saturday 4th with Thank You for the Music – an Abba Tribute night. Finally a diary note for all Big O and Wilbury fans – the Roy Orbison and Travelling Wilburys Experience is coming to this seaside theatre on Friday 10th August, so as you can see there’s no let-up in the scorching entertainment at the Spa this summer.
The Spa’s regular ‘Dine & Dance’ nights are proving popular too with delicious dishes and live entertainment. Saturday 21st July – Laura Nicole will be entertaining the guests with her vocal talents featuring tunes from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Enjoy a set menu or choose from the regular menu or just pop in for a drink – last entry 10pm. To make a booking call 01394 336336.
