Summer Fun at Felixstowe Spa


August at the Spa Pavilion is overflowing with family entertainment and the new season brochure covering summer through to winter is available at The Spa now.

Starting off the holiday month is the Great British Seaside Special on Thursday 2nd August from 2.30pm which stars funny man and magician Andy Leach. A superbly traditional, end-of-the-pier style variety show which is full of hilarious comedy, incredible singing and dancing, amazing magic and ventriloquism. This family-friendly show is perfect for all ages.

Next up a hilarious comedy play, which is part variety show, and written by much-loved comedian Bobby Ball: The Dressing Room is on Friday 3rd August at 7.30pm – touring by public demand.

With all the recent hype about the forthcoming Mamma Mia II if you’d like to relive all of those great musical hits join The Spa on Saturday 4th August. Thank You For The Music is billed as the ultimate Abba Tribute show (7.30pm) and promises the greatest party-time extravaganza!! Friday 10th is The Big O & the Wilburys Experience commemorating 30 years since the Wilburys original album release. This fabulous show pays a special tribute to Roy Orbison.

Mums and Dads bring your little ones for Milkshake! Live on Saturday 18th August with two shows 12.30pm and 3.30pm tickets from just £6. Friday 24th at 7.30pm is Delightfully Dusty a truly authentic and memorable evening of great music, closely followed on Sunday 26th at 5pm with The Glenn Miller Orchestra together with fabulous harmonies of the Moonlight Serenaders and the sublime vocals of Catherine Sykes & Mark Porter.

The Spa is delighted to welcome back the ever-popular Joe Pasquale with a brand new show ‘A Few of His Favourite Things’ on Monday 27th from 7.30pm.

Next month gets off to a sparkling start with Orbison & Holly on Saturday 1st September and then a week later on Saturday 8th two shows! Firstly D-Day Darlings with Songs That Won the War at 3pm and then The Magic of Motown fills the stage from 8pm. With a further four shows planned, the stage is going to be ablaze with coloured light and full of funky sound in September!

The Spa’s late opening on Friday and Saturday evenings is proving popular too with delicious dishes and occasional live entertainment. Enjoy a set menu or choose from the regular menu or just pop in for a drink – last food orders 9pm and last entry is at 10pm. To make a booking call 01394 336336.

Both of the bar restaurants are open Sunday to Thursday from 9.30am to 6pm, from 9.30am to late on Fridays and Saturdays (last food orders at 9pm) and at least two hours before every performance.
