A Christmas Carol

The East of England’s leading family charity, Ormiston Families, is inviting theatre enthusiasts the chance to watch an adapted version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol in a solo performance by world renowned actor and public speaker, John Bromley-Davenport.

Taking place on Sunday 9th December, 4.30pm at Seckford Theatre in Woodbridge, John Bromley-Davenport will use the power of language, humour, joy and pathos to delight the audience to great effect. The acclaimed production has enraptured spectators for over 30 years on both sides of the Atlantic.

Gavin Lamb, Fundraising Manager for Ormiston Families, said, “This special event is the perfect start to the Christmas season for anyone looking for something different to experience, or who has an appreciation of Dickens’ works. With all funds raised going to families facing challenging times at Christmas, this unique solo dramatisation of A Christmas Carol is sure to move and grip you to the bones.”

Mince pies and mulled wine will be served on the night.

Tickets cost £25 per person (£15 for children) and can be booked at www.ormistonfamilies.org.uk/events.

Ormiston Families is a charity that identifies and responds to the needs of children and young people, whatever challenges they face with a vision of a world in which every family is safe, healthy and resilient.
