Darts Legends Live is coming to Trinity Park in Ipswich next month and will feature three local legends that really put the sport on the map.
Ipswich’s own Former World Champion Keith Deller, Colchester’s larger than life Bobby George and former world number one Colin ‘Jaws’ Lloyd will feature in a night sure to enthral the audience at The Trinity Park Event Centre.
Not only was Keith was first qualifier ever to win the World Professional Darts Championship beating the late Eric Bristow in the 1983 final but was also the only player in history to beat the top three players in the world on his way to the title.
Bobby, meanwhile was runner up on two occasions, fourteen years apart, and in the build up to the second final in 1994 broke his back but still played the final despite being in extreme pain. However he is also well known as perhaps the sports biggest ever personality and even now often pops up on television in various programmes.
Colin who was World number one for almost two years won his first major title in the 2004 World Grand Prix, where he beat Alan Warriner in the final and the following year added the 2005 World Matchplay title to his collection.
These three Legends of the game will be showing off their skills and having some fun with the audience at the Felixstowe Road venue on Friday 8th February from 8pm.
