Win: DVD of Indian Hospital Drama

Set in a stunning coastal town in tropical South India comes a brand-new ITV drama The Good Karma Hospital starring a wealth of great acting talent including Amanda Redman (New Tricks), Amrita Acharia (Game of Thrones) and Neil Morrissey (Line of Duty).

This heart-warming six-part series arrives on DVD and digital courtesy of RLJ Entertainment’s Acorn label and starts this Sunday on ITV.

The Good Karma Hospital is a run-down but resourceful hospital, run by the wonderfully eccentric Lydia Fonseca (Redman). Held together by a hand-picked team of British and Indian medics, the Good Karma turns no-one away – locals, ex-pats and tourists are all welcome. The series follows the lives and loves of the hardworking team, as they travel the red dirt roads to patients staying in five-star beach resorts or inland – through lush green jungles – to help local villagers. Back at the hospital, any story can walk through the door.

This life-affirming Indian–set medical drama mixes the heart-breaking with the humorous, and arrives on DVD in a two-disc set on 13th March. It will also be available on digital –  iTunes, Amazon and Google – the day after each episode airs on ITV.
