Psychic Show cancelled

The Felixstowe Spa which is currently facing uncertainty about it’s future was dealt a further blow today with the announcement of a forthcoming show being cancelled.

The Psychic and Science which was to have taken place at the Spa Pavilion, Felixstowe on 25th July has been cancelled due to the show’s promoter going into liquidation. Psychic and Science features Derek Acorah and Richard Felix from TV’s Most Haunted and ghost hunter Denise Mott.

Spa manager Julie Howes told us “I have not been able to get hold of the said promoter myself but was forwarded the following statement by the booking agent who was working on his behalf.”

Due to the current economic climate and the increasing costs in production, it has become necessary for Total Arts Management Limited to cancel the remaining tour dates for Psychic & Science in 2012. This innovative and ground breaking show, first appeared on the tour circuit in 2011 and established itself as a leader in its unique field, however, with poor sales and increased costs, the viability of the production at this time has become untenable and the producers sincerely apologise to venues for having to make this decision at this stage. We would like to thank all venues which showed faith and trust in this new production.

All customers who have purchased tickets for this show have been notified and refunds are being returned. All telephone numbers, web sites and email addresses have now been terminated so he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth!”

Julie added, “All customers who have purchased tickets for this show have been notified and refunds are being returned. All telephone numbers, web sites and email addresses have now been terminated so he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth!”

“Obviously we are deeply disappointed that another show has been cancelled at The Spa Pavilion but this was totally out of my control and I can only apologise to those customers who had booked tickets”

The Spa faces possible closure in the new year, however until that time the theatre continues and there is a full and varied programme planned for the rest of the year. For full details see www.thespapavilion.org
