Prepare yourself for a party as the legendary That’ll Be The Day, the ‘Number One Award Winning’ entertainment show, will be rocking into Ipswich with a Brand New 2011 Christmas Show.

Nostalgia, music and comedy top the bill this Christmas when That’ll Be The Day plays the The Regent Theatre for one night only on Thursday 8th December at 7.30pm.

THAT’LL BE THE DAY is about nostalgia, reflecting the music and tone of an era that changed the course of music history and youth culture forever. The show was established on the cabaret circuit in the late 1980′s and began playing regional theatres in the early 1990′s.

Despite performing as many as 230 shows a year to capacity audiences across the UK, Trevor Payne who wrote and created the show back in 1986 and still directs, produces and stars in the production today rewrites the show every year – Over six months is taken in planning and preparation, culminating in just four weeks of intensive rehearsals before the show once again takes to the road with its new offering every summer.

Trevor, Gary and the gang celebrate the festive season by bringing on back the good times with a combination of their unique comedy routines mixed with a non-stop line up of all the best Christmas hits to produce a show with a real feel good party atmosphere!

The show’s popularity has grown, and attracts audiences both young and old, who love coming to see the show, either because of the memories it evokes or the feel good factor the show gives them.

That’ll Be The Day is renowned for its work with worthy causes such at BT Childline amongst many others and most recently raised a staggering £40,000 for the show’s chosen charity Help For Heroes, the organisation set up for British soldiers wounded serving their country.

Tickets for That’ll Be The Day are available from the theatre box office on 01473 433100 or on-line at www.ipswichregent.com
