Police appeal over Park robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in on Sunday 8 July, in Ipswich.

The incident happened at approximately 2.45pm in Christchurch Park. The female victim entered the park through Fonnereau Road, inside the park she turned left and was approached by a group of teenagers, four males and two females. One male and two female teenagers demanded the victim’s mobile phone, which she handed over.

The male offender is described as white, approximately 18-years-old and was wearing a black coat with tracksuit bottoms. The first female offender is described as white, approximately 18-years-old and was wearing jeans and a hooded top. The second female offender is described as of mixed race, approximately 18-years-old and was wearing jeans and a hooded top.

Anyone with information about the incident or recognises any of the individuals described is asked to call Ipswich Priority Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
