Stars at Jamil's Koh-i-noor Lounge Bar - Mon. 15th October
Pop stars Chico and Shola Ama wowed an enthralled audience at Jamil’s Indian Lounge Bar and Restaurant on Crown Street on Monday 15th October, 2007. The venue was chosen by Alamin Khandaker and his wife Mun Mun for the reception to celebrate the renewal of their wedding vows. The wedding ceremony took place on a Douglas Dakota DC3 aircraft as it flew over East Anglia and London. Mr Khandaker is the star of the band Chime and found time during the festivities to perform a couple of numbers on stage himself.
