IPSWICH, SUFFOLK

Ipswich Town, capital town of the county of Suffolk, England's oldest recorded town and home to "The Tractor Boys" Ipswich Town Football Club. But there is much more to Ipswich and here is the place to find out just what.....

The town is served by four radio stations: BBC Radio Suffolk, SGR-FM, Town 102 and ICRFM. The morning paper is the East Anglian Daily Times (EADT) and evening edition is known as The Star.

There are four theatres in the town, details available on our ON STAGE page. Cardinal Park is an area situated between the town centre and the river and offers a wide choice of nightlife, restaurants and cinema complex.

FURTHER AFIELD....

If you feel the urge to get out of the town then you don't have to travel far. East Anglia has some of the best beaches and countryside in all of England. For a full guide to what's happening across the region just visit EastAnglia24 at www.ea24.co.uk. Run by the same people who bring you Ipswich24, it's THE place to go when you want to know what to do across Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex.
