YOUR ONLINE GUIDE TO IPSWICH, SUFFOLK AND SURROUNDING AREAS

SUFFOLK NSPCC BRANCH BIG BIKE RIDE

Alton Water, Stutton, Holbrook, Suffolk
Sunday 16th September 2007

This special sponsored event, designed for 'ALL' is not a race but an opportunity to enjoy cycling alone or with family and friends at a pace and distance to suit YOU! Alton Water has two designated tracks, graded 'easier to more challenging' - approx. distance 8 miles, however, participants can opt to cover one, three, five or as many miles as they wish.

Alton Water is a beautiful venue with much to see and do! With its nature reserve and leisure/sailing centre, participants could stop for a break, enjoy a picnic, 'soak up' the stunning scenery or investigate the butterfly garden, wildflower meadow or numerous ponds - you may even spot the occasional windsurfer!

The organisers hope that this is will be the first of many East Suffolk Bike Rides supporting the work of the NSPCC and local Child Protection Team in particular. Over £300,000 was spent on the Suffolk CPT' service during 2006/7.

You can download your Registration Form by visiting www.benevolus.com and scrolling down to Big Bike Ride and then clicking the link.
