Ipswich Regent's panto for 2007 is Cinderella, starring former EasterEnder's star Letitia Dean in the role of The Fairy Godmother. Letitia told us she made her panto-debut in the role of Cinderella, last year she played the Wicked Step Mother role in Snow White and now she is a "fairy".

Playing Cinderella is local girl Alison Dormer. Alison comes from Norfolk where she trained at the Central School in Norwich, she now lives in Colchester. She has had a variey of roles on stage and more recently has spent four successful years at the Dominian Theatre in London's West End playing the lead female role in We Will Rock You.

Other cast members include Simon Bashford who has had numerous stage, screen and tv appearances. Adam Daye and Adam Kelly take on the parts of the Ugly Sisters - allegedly the best Ugly Sisters in the country.

The show will also feature a magical "flying" coach and horses and members of The Suffolk Academy of Dance and Performing Arts. The Academy teaches ballet, tap and performing arts.

Making a few special deliveries to each performance will be children's favourite Postman Pat.
