A James Bond charity eveningis being held in the stunning
setting of Landguard Fort in Felixstowe on Saturday 11th
July as a fundraiser for the Group’s new HQ building.
Celebrate the great British legend James Bond with wonderful
jazz, a gastronomic 007 movie tour, a fun casino and a few
surprises. Internationally renowned young jazz singer Polly
Gibbons, accompanied by The Fat Band with a mixture of soul
and original R & B, will entertain guests.
The Scout event is adults only, and dress is black tie or
Bond theme. Tickets cost £38 and will include a welcome
drink and exciting Dr No, Live And Let Die, GoldenEye and
Puddings Galore menus and fun casino plus much more!
There will also be a coach service to the event running
from Woodbridge Station at a cost of £2 return –
availability will be limited so please book seats early.
1st Woodbridge Scout Group, celebrating its centenary year,
is housed in an old barrack building, originally from Orfordness,
which after many years of faithful service requires major
upgrades. The Group is fundraising for a new headquarters/community
building which will cater for the needs of future generations
of 1st Woodbridge Scouts.
