Trimley Carnival called off

Organisers of Trimley Carnival have called the event off with just 24 hours notice.

The event was to have taken place on Saturday 14th July, however the decision to cancel is because the field at Trimley Sports and Social Club is waterlogged. The parade usually runs through the village and terminates on the field where there are activities and fairground attactions.

Sadly the recent high rainfall has meant that the field is unsuitable and potentially dangerous and therefore with great reluctance the organisers have cancelled the event.
