Proof of some of our success

This month I thought I would  mention a few of the recent results achieved by some of the athletes I have been advising on nutritional requirements to support optimum performance.

In August, Ollie Stern came 5th in an expert class motorcross event, a brilliant achievement for someone who is still classed as an amateur. Ollie is far from being an 'amateur though. In my opinion he is one of the best young riders around at the moment, and is starting to be mentioned frequently in motorcross reviews and race reports.

At this years world power lifting championships, Ann Thomas won her 4th world championship with a personal best deadlift of 145kg.  Ann has also been the National, European and World Champion in 2005, 2006, and 2007.  Neil Thomas (Ann's husband) Came 3rd in the same championships with a Bench press of 221kg.  Neil's impressive record achievements are as long as your arm.  He was the National bench press champion in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007.

The European bench press champion in 2004, 2006, 2007 and the World champion in 2005, 2006, 2007! Those of you who know anything about weight lifting will be impressed by Ann and Neil's achievements, for those who don't, I can assure you these are stunning results. As if that wasn't achievement enough, Neil then went on to be awarded an MBE!  Kim Marsh, the exceptionally talented mountain bike racer from Ipswich, recently competed in the 'Dusk till Dawn' mountain bike race in Thetford Forrest.  Over a thousand riders took part in the event which runs through the night with Kim riding in the three man team race.  Kim's team came in 5th place, another awesome achievement, however when you take into account that most of the teams placed above Kim were professional riders, the achievement was even more impressive, but it doesn't stop there... when looking back at Kim's lap times it became clear that as an individual, Kim was perhaps the best rider there!! His lap times were 3rd fastest lap on the night in the three man race, 2nd fastest on two of his other laps and 1st fastest on all the others!

There are several other athletes who I am involved with, one of whom is just about to turn professional another who has turned professional and is at the very top of his game.  More on these to follow.  So, are you still happy with who you get your nutritional and performance advice from?  If not...then like Ollie, Ann, Neil, Kim and many others...you know where to come.
