Suffolk Shingle: Tales of Trash and Treasure.Suffolk shingle is a rare and surprisingly fragile habitat with plants that are specially adapted to survive there. The stones are also superb for finding hidden treasures from fossil sharks’ teeth to sea shells to egg cases of creatures we rarely see, as well as the inevitable plastic litter. Everything we find on the beach tells a story and Kate Osborne, beachcomber and conservationist, will be telling these tales as well as showing some of her more unusual beachcombing finds.
