Suffolk’s biggest day out is underway at the Trinity Park Showground, Ipswich, home to The Suffolk Show.
Despite an overcast day the weather has not affected the event and Day One looks like bringing in record crowds. The two-day event will showcase the best of what Suffolk has to offer and there really is something for everyone.
The weather for Thursday is cloudy with occasional outbreaks of light rain for the morning. Rain becoming more persistent and heavy at times through this afternoon combined with freshening winds making it feel cool. Visitors are advised to bring waterproof clothing and umbrellas and prepare for a truly wonderful day.
Highlights on day one include the military display at 2pm in the main ring; Parade of Hounds in the President’s Ring at 3.15pm and street entertainment around the ground.
