Pulse: Down Town

A new play by PAUL T. DAVIES presented by STAGE WRITE
New Wolsey Studio, Tuesday 31 May at 9pm

They had an unforgettable night out- if only they could remember it!

Happily gay couple Tony and Bernie have hit the town- but now the town is hitting back! It’s the morning after the night before, and Bernie has lost his boa, neighbour Monica wants all the gossip, Tony has misplaced his clothes, and Tony’s wife, (!), Sheila wants his sperm! As arguments begin, police officer Goodwin arrives to arrest Bernie, and the lads begin to piece events together. Sandra the doorman is not happy, the Royal Marines are in a special recovery unit… but they discover that nothing, NOTHING, not even the scorn of a jilted wife, can match the fury of a displeased theatrical Dame!

A contemporary comedy of gay life, DownTown celebrates the trails and tribulations of relationships, the need for parenthood, and the whole messy business of a great night out! Containing strong language and sexual content, this play is a must for gay men and their supporters!

Two Gay men, one big night out = one revengeful Dame!
