Portugal’s percussion-mad sextuplet, be-dom, comes to the UK with a dynamic show that combines music, comedy and theatre.
Using alternative instruments, such as barrels, rubbish, bottles (basically anything they find), be-dom have created a performance guaranteed to thrill, uplift and make you shake your booty! be-dom are some of the most exciting performers in Europe.
They have played stadium concerts for audiences of up to 35,000, opened The Eurovision Song Contest and mocked unsuspecting chat show presenters. They have done Monty Python parodies for Tourism Board adverts, livened up corporate gatherings for the likes of Sony and Toyota, and created TV ads for mobile carriers. Their popularity in Portugal even spawned an MTV Diary episode, which followed them through their Fringe 2010 adventures.
After a series of sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010 be-dom are heading to Ipswich this summer! Performing at the intimate theatre at the Jerwood DanceHouse from Tuesday 12th until Saturday 30th July, this show is suitable for everyone! Tickets are £14, (£7 concessions) or 4 for £35 and they are on sale now and can be booked from the DanceEast Box Office on 01473 295230 or online at www.danceeast.co.uk.
