Hotly-tipped Suffolk singer songwriter Ed Sheeran celebrates the release of his hugely anticipated debut album, ‘+’ with four in-store appearances across the UK, starting at hmv’s Tavern Street store in Ipswich on Sunday 11th September 2011.

Ed, who’s single The A Team is still in the top 5 singles chart 8 weeks after being released, will be at the store from 11.00 am to meet fans and sign copies of + . The album features timeless song-writing informed as much by Jay-Z and Eminem as by Bob Dylan and Damien Rice this is evident in Ed’s new single You Need Me, I Don’t Need You.

+ is officially released the same day through Asylum/ Atlantic Records. “I’d like to say it’s all about positivity,” Ed says of the album’s title, “but really it’s just a cool sign that I love”.

Later that same day Ed visits hmv’s Gentlemans Walk store in Norwich for another signing session kicking off at 3.00 pm.

On Monday 12th September Ed will perform live, in-store at the hmv flagship Oxford Street shop in London’s West End. The performance starts at 6.00 pm. He will remain in the store to meet fans and sign copies of the new album.

‘+’, is Ed Sheeran’s debut album released on the 12th September through Asylum/Atlantic Records and features ‘The A Team’ and new single ‘You Need Me, I Don’t Need You’ out on the 28th August.
