2011 Firework Guide for Suffolk

Friday 4th November
Fireworks Display, Cliff Lane Primary School Ipswich. The gates open at 6.15pm and display starts at 7.15pm Tickets can be bought on the night or beforehand from Cliff Lane Post Office.

The Big Night Out, Melford Hall, Long Melford. The gates open at 6pm, with the ignition of a giant bonfire decorated with Guys made by local children at 7.30pm. The Pains Firework Spectacular will start at 8pm. Tickets on the gate are £6 for adults and £4 for children.

Sproughton Bonfire, Fireworks and BBQ, Millennium Green, Lower Street Sproughton. Huge bonfire and great fireworks, plus BBQ selling reasonably priced food. Car parking available at the school in Church Lane – £1 per car. Entrance fee on the gate is £4 adults and £2 per child. There are no other gimmicks for the children to nag for at this popular family event.

Saturday 5th November
Heveningham Hall Guy Fawkes Bonfire and Firework Display. The gates open at 5pm. There will be a huge bonfire, fun fair, local bands and a variety of concessions selling burgers, fish & chips, BBQ chicken, hog roast etc. All proceeds from fireworks go to charity. Tickets cost £15 per car on the gate, on foot tickets are £5 per adult and £3 per child (ages 4 – 14).

Annual Firework Display, Christchurch Park, Ipswich. A very special evening of fireworks will be fired to your favourite sporting themes with a spectacular Olympic finale. BBC Radio Suffolk will be on stage with party band ‘Soul Kitchen’, plus fun fair and food stalls. Cash entry to the park is £9 for adults and £6 for children. Gala Firework Night, Foxhall Stadium, Ipswich. The bonfire bash with unlimited National Bangers and bangers, plus a Smart Car Parade and a gigantic firework display. For more information visit www.spedeworth.co.uk

Bonfire Night Celebrations, Museum of East Anglian Life, Stowmarket, Gates open at 6.30pm, enjoy the sights and smells of traction engines in steam, and a selection of Old Tyme Amusements from an East Anglian Fairground Family. The bonfire will be lit on the top field at 7pm and the fireworks will start at 7.30pm. Entry on the night is Adults £4.50 and Children £3.50.

Firework Spectacular, Felixstowe & Walton United Football Club, Dellwood Avenue. Felixstowe’s biggest ever display, choreographed to classical themed music, plus funfair, fire performers, food village and more! The gates open at 5pm, with the display starting at 7pm.
