Up Close and Personal! An Evening with Jonathan Ansell will be at the Spa Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 17th March at 7.30pm.
Jonathan Ansell, the sensational voice on over 2 million albums, is one of the UK’s most popular young Tenors. He shot to fame with pop opera group G4 on the X Factor. When they split, Jonathan was propelled to instant stardom as a solo artist, shooting to the top of the charts with his first album “Tenor at the Movies”. His second album “Forever” was a huge critical success.
Described as “The Justin Timberlake of Pop Opera” Jonathan continues to sell out theatres all over the UK as a solo star, including London’s Royal Albert Hall, Elgar Room. He has played the lead role in Carl Rosa’s The Mikado, dueted with Hayley Westenra on the nationwide Valentines’ Tour and also in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, performed at Andrew Lloyd Webbers birthday celebrations in Hyde Park, a nationwide touring production of A Night At the Opera and toured the US with renowned composer Marvin Hamlisch.

Now, for the first time, audiences will hear Jonathan sing in this new intimate setting. In this special evening, hosted by BBC Radio’s Paul Harris, Jonathan will tell all his “behind the scenes” stories and share the secrets of his phenomenal success. There will also be an opportunity for audience questions.
