Ipswich Hospital continues visiting restrictions

All ward visiting at the Ipswich Hospital is once more restricted today (Monday 27th Feb) because there are a number of patients throughout the wards with sickness and diarrhoea.

An Open Morning for prospective Volunteers on Tuesday, 28 February 2012, between 10am and Noon in the Lecture Theatre, Education Centre has been postponed until the situation at the hospital improves.

There is not a blanket visiting ban and every request for visiting will be considered on an individual basis.

The message is that anybody wanting to visit needs to ring the ward before they set out.

The Maternity wards, Bergholt childrens ward and Somersham cancer ward are exempt.

The numbers to ring to contact the wards are:

Claydon 01473 702300

Debenham 01473 702313

Kesgrave 01473 702710

Needham 01473 702231
