Herman’s Hermits are one of the most successful groups throughout the world. From their beginning in Manchester England on April 1st 1964, the band has chalked up over 23 hit singles, 10 hit album, 3 major movies and countless television shows and concert tours all over the world. To date, they have total record sales of over 75 million
The Golden oldies still make up a large part of their show – much to the enjoyment of their fans who can’t resist singing along to ‘Mrs Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter’, ‘Silhouettes’, ‘There’s a Kind of Hush’, ‘Henry VIII’ and others too numerous to mention.
From the Sixties, through the Seventies, Eighties , Nineties and into the 21st Centry, Herman’s Hermits are still ‘Into Something Good’
Simon started his career at 18 and after listening to his major influences of Luther Vandross, Michael Bolton, Alexander O’Neal and various soul singers from the 70s and 80s, Simon followed his heart and start singing soul music. Since winning Ipswich’s Got Talent in 2010, Simon has appeared at the AbbeyFest festival and will be returning to the Ipswich Regent Theatre stage in April to support Alexander O Neal. Simon will be accompanied on tonights stage by experienced guitarist Ian Robinson.
