Latitude 2012 – Line-up Announced

Tickets went on sale on Monday 5th March for the 7th Latitude Festival and are via Official Agents TICKETMASTER 

The seventh edition of Latitude, the UK’s favourite multi-arts festival, which takes place at Henham Park in Suffolk from 12-15th July, has made the first line-up announcements for 2012. On Friday 13th July, Bon Iver will close Latitude’s Obelisk Arena in his first major headline slot and only UK festival appearance in 2012. BBC Olympics theme composers Elbow will top the bill on Saturday, while Paul Weller will bring Latitude 2012 to a crescendo on Sunday 15th July.


Latitude is more than music and colourful sheep, and 35,000 festival goers are expected to visit over the four days to witness  film, comedy, theatre, cabaret, dance, poetry and literature also set in the fantastic setting of Henham Park.

The 2012 Line-up

Friday: Headliners – Bon Iver; Saturday’s line-up is topped by Elbow; Sunday see Paul Weller taking centre stage.

Among the  acts announced so far (and in the coming months many more will be added, but for starters): Wild Beasts, The Horrors, and White Lies headlining The Word Arena. Special appearances confirmed include Bat For Lashes, Buena Vista Social Club, Daryl Hall, Janelle Monae, Laura Marling Metronom and Simple Minds.
