Homelessness Charity Emmaus receives Cheque

Emmaus Ipswich received a cheque for over £300 from Ipswich-based car insurance comparison website Tiger.co.uk. They raised the funds via one of their monthly charity “dress down days”.

Emmaus Ipswich is a local charity working to create an Emmaus Community in Ipswich. Emmaus Communities offer formerly homeless people a home, work and access to training in a supportive environment.

Julia Jolley, Co-chairperson at Emmaus said: “We are grateful to all the staff that have supported Emmaus Ipswich by taking part in the dress down day. Dress down days are one of the many simple yet fun ways local companies can help us.”

Joanna Buck, Marketing Manager at Tiger.co.uk commented: “Emmaus Ipswich is a very worthy charity that offers a live-work project for people who are ready to take a step back into independent living.”
