Danza Contemporánea de Cuba received overwhelming acclaim for its first ever major UK tour in 2010. The fresh, joyous and passionate programme of work featured the outstanding Mambo 3XXI, created by resident choreographer and dancer George Céspedes and nominated for both an Olivier and TMA Award for his outstanding contribution to dance. This internationally renowned company returns with a programme including a piece by award-winning choreographer and influencer of modern dance, Itzik Galili; Carmen?!, Kenneth Kvarnström’s cheeky, playful interpretation of Carmen with the music from Bizet featuring seven male dancers, and a chance to experience the incredible Mambo 3XXI.??
