Aqua Zumba comes to Suffolk

Known as the Zumba ‘pool party’ Aqua Zumba gives a new meaning to the idea of an invigorating fitness workout. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging water based workout that is cardio-conditioning, body toning and most of all an exhilarating class. Suitable for all ages and fitness level

Zumba combines latin and international music with a fun and effective workout system. It was created in 2001 and is the largest dance fitness programme. The methodology of Zumba fitness, supplies easy to follow routines with repetitive moves creating a dance like routine.

Zumba chorography and music incorporate hip hop, samba, salsa, merengue, tango, flamenco and many more, for a great cardio calorie-burning workout for the whole body without you actually realising your working it! Zumba creates a party like atmosphere that provides a non-intimidating opportunity for all to participate in. “Leave you inhibitions at the door!” Says Zumba instructor Emma Louise Spall, “Move it how you move it – shake it how you shake it – it doesn’t matter – have fun!”

Emma has been teaching fitness since 2002 and Zumba since June 2011. “As an Instructor I encourage people to get moving and benefit their health, fitness and wellbeing.”

Emma is taking her Zumba classes to the pool at the Birch Farm Complex on Wednesday evenings, with the introduction of brand new Aqua Zuma – So go on, ditch the workout and join the ‘pool’ party!
