New Voices summer Concert

Ipswich based choral group New Voices will be performing their summer concert at St. Andrew’s Church, Rushmere St. Andrew on 24th June, starting at 3.30pm.

The concert programme will include a selection of pieces from ‘Eternal Light’ by Howard Goodall, folk songs and spirituals to create a special Midsummer musical afternoon.

Under the direction of their conductor, local singing teacher, Pamela Vinten and accompanied by Melanie Bigden, in addition to the choral singing, some of the choir will perform solo pieces.

New Voices is a choir for people who are new to singing in a choir, or for those who are returning back to singing. The summer concert is ideal to showcase the hard work the choir has undertaken in learning new pieces, in particular this year with tackling parts of a larger choral work, ‘Eternal Light’.

• Tickets are £5 on the door, Refreshments are available and there will be a Retiring Collection. For more information visit www.newvoices.org.uk
