Pirates to invade Felixstowe

Ahoy there me hearties! Felixstowe residents are being challenged to have some swashbuckling fun while raising much needed booty for charity.
The British Heart Foundation will be holding a Pirate Promenade – a charity walk along Felixstowe Promenade on Sunday 22 July at 11.30am.
Registration costs £10 for adults and £5 for children. Entry includes a free pirate hat. Register today by emailing mayera@bhf.org.uk or calling 01223 862695.
Once the Jolly Roger is raised, the pirate promenade will begin. There will be a prize for the best dressed pirate, so, me beautiful buccaneers, get creative and come dressed to impress. And, shiver me timbers – there will be medals and goody bags for completing the walk.
Alex Mayer, Suffolk British Heart Foundation Fundraising Manager says: “Yo ho ho! Please join our Pirate Promenade and help raise lots of money because pieces of eight save lives. And make sure you have loads of fun too because laughing is great for your heart! See you at the Pirate Promenade, me hearty!”
