New Science Project opens

Did you know a sneeze can exceed 100 mph? Or that children grow faster in springtime? With the arrival of the Science Project Discover Centre at Snakes and Ladders, a whole world of facts officially opened on 24 October with year 3 pupils from Rose Hill Primary School, Ipswich putting the exhibits though their paces.

The Science Project Discovery Centre is bursting with fantastic interactive exhibits that put the fun into learning. Children and parents can challenge themselves to ‘Build A Body’, operate the ‘Crazy Crane’ and unravel the mystery of the ‘Treasure Chest’, among a wide variety of other hands-on exhibits that bring learning to life.
Said business owner Dingle Kirkwood, “Some visitors in August and September had a sneak peek at our new Science Project Discovery Centre and it’s proved very popular. It’s great to see children engaging with the exhibits alongside their parents. And with the indoor play centre next door, where children can let off some steam, it’s a great combination.”
The Science Project Discovery Centre is located at Snakes and Ladders, Cavendish Street, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 8AX. www.snakes-and-ladders.co.uk 01473 255000
