Seminar will help beat stress in the workplace

Stressed at work? About to reach for the comfort food or feeling yourself getting pent up? If so, a special event being run in Ipswich on 31st October is exactly what you need.
Ex-Premiership footballer Ruel Fox will be on hand to help us all de-stress at ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ a fun and innovative event aimed to get everyone talking about and improving our mental wellbeing.
The ex-Norwich City star, who now runs a personal training organisation in Ipswich will be leading the ‘Lunch Punch’, aimed at demonstrating how exercise can help relieve stress and improve workplace productivity.
The event, run by the Norwich and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, is taking place on the afternoon of 31st October in the Foyer at University Campus Suffolk. The event is free to attend and doors will be open all afternoon, with no need to book.
Other activities that the public are invited to try out include a demonstration of ‘mood food’, a Wii sports competition, fitness testing, the ‘your voice counts’ video booth, massages, a mental health art exhibition, and business seminars about wellbeing in the workplace as well as experts who will be on hand to offer confidential sessions if anyone has any mental health related questions or concerns.
The event is taking place simultaneously in Ipswich and Norwich, where it’s being held in The Forum.
Activities on offer will emphasise the ‘five key steps to mental wellbeing’, which are Connect; Be Active; Keep Learning; Give to Others and Take Notice.
If you would like to book a free place at one of the business seminars called ‘wellbeing in the workplace’, please contact Helen Rudd at Lexia Media on Helen@lexiamedia.co.uk or call 01394 384410
