New role for Electric House

Electric House is one of the most prominent and iconic buildings in Ipswich, situated at the top of Lloyds Avenue and Crown Street. The building has had a variety of uses over the years including being the one-time home to Radio Orwell, an art gallery, a futon shop and is now set to reopen with a new lease of life following a major refurbishment.

The Mayor of Ipswich, Councillor Mary Blake, will officially open haart’s first ever branch in Ipswich on Thursday, March 7, 2013.

haart, the UK’s largest independent estate agent, has invested close to £150,000 transforming Electric House building on Lloyds Avenue in Ipswich into its first ever branch in the Suffolk town.

The 2,100 sq ft premises, the largest haart branch in East Anglia, forms the centre piece of a drive by haart to establish itself as ‘the estate agent of choice’ for people looking to buy, sell, let or rent in Ipswich. haart currently has over 125 branches nationwide.
