A range of family activities and workshops have been organised at Ipswich Town Hall and Corn Exchange for Sunday 17th March. “Access All Arts” will showcase local talent and provide opportunities for the community to participate in the arts.
“Imakefunstuff” will be hosting a vintage and craft market and will highlight local vintage traders. Other free activities include poetry readings, art exhibitions, and a business music workshop. Resident café Snobs Coffee and the Suffolk Craft Society shop will also be open throughout the day.
Jenny Wrens Yarns is also inviting visitors to sew a blanket in support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Last autumn, a 12-hour workshop was held at local business Loveone, where crocheted squares were knitted. The completed blanket will then be auctioned to help raise funds for the charity. Limited sewing equipment will be available on the day, so if you have your own equipment please take it along.
For a schedule of activity and more information about the activity being provided visit www.ipswich.gov.uk/AAA or call Evie Dunbavin on 01473 433517.
All activities and tours are limited and will need to be booked in person on the day. Doors open at noon.
