The popular Woodbridge Vintage & Modern Market has its first outing of 2013 on the Market Hill and inside the Shire Hall on Saturday 30th March, with over 50 traders packing out their stalls in the iconic Suffolk setting.
The market will feature a wide range of the region’s leading designers, interiors, fashion, vintage and furniture traders.
Sarah Hill of Deben Events, organisers of the popular market, said, “It’s great to bring back the original and best Woodbridge market for the Easter Weekend for some shopping as it should be – we’ve got some interesting and unusual traders coming along.”
Visitors can expect to find chic countrywear from Classic Country Clothing; British designers, Stabo, with their edgy leather goods, t-shirts and bags, all made in Britain; Salvation Furniture’s upcycled and New Rustic furniture; Peagreen Cupboard selling some vintage and antique finds; and Rockin’ Robin with his selection of cool vinyl.
Fellow organiser, Jac Cassidy, said, “We’ve also got a young fashion student from Suffolk College selling her printed clothes coming as part of our Young Entrepreneurs in Suffolk (YES!) scheme, which gives a free pitch to a start-up business.”
The Woodbridge Vintage & Modern Market will also have local ceramics, vintage Barbour clothing, Suffolk food and drink producers, and a huge selection of other stalls. The event takes place from 10am to 4pm. For more information see www.debenevents.com
