Stargazers in Chantry Park

“Fly me to the moon!” There is a wonderful opportunity to gaze at the stars on Saturday 13th April in Ipswich’s Chantry Park.

The event, organised by the Orwell Astronomical Society and Ipswich Borough Council’s Wildlife Rangers, takes place between 8pm and 10pm.

So, if you want to see Jupiter, Saturn or possibly a comet, meet at Chantry Park’s Hadleigh Road car park. Tickets cost £2 for adults, £1 for children. To book call 01473 433994.

If the event is cancelled because of bad weather it will be rescheduled for Saturday 20th April – same time and place.
